SOUNDINGS IS LOOKING FOR ONE ALTO AND ONE BARITONE.

I will be auditioning as soon as possible to start immediately for concerts in June. Here is what I am looking for:

Secure singing pitch, good vocal tone, and good level of musicianship;

Ability to learn quickly from sheet music and/or digital sources (i.e. computer music files, midi or mp3 files);

Ability to memorize repertoire as all performance is off-book;

Ability to rehearse Sunday mornings;

Committment to attendance at rehearsals and concerts.

At the audition (which is quite informal) we'll talk some more about what you are looking for and what I am looking for, I will take you through some exercises, have you sing a song of your own for me, and work with some music so that I can see how you learn parts.
